The story of Project Jaguar began with extensive research into natural shapes, dynamic motion, and fluid geometry, aiming to create a seating family that embodies both grace and power, a chair that feels alive. This concept transcends a simple design sketch, as we have developed the complete, market-ready solutions.
Our process was treating inspiration, design, function, and production as an integrated challenge. Following the initial sketches, we leveraged advanced surfacing and CAD modeling to perfect the chair’s enveloping, organic shell, ensuring both a distinctive aesthetic and superior ergonomic comfort. Beyond form, we defined the entire production pathway, including:
Integrated Styling: We established a cohesive design language that seamlessly links the dining and low dining versions, providing flexibility for interior designers.
Production-Ready Detailing: We resolved critical manufacturing elements at the highest level of fidelity, including the structural frame, component joinery, molded polyurethane elements, the stitching design, optimal material breaks, and color harmonization.
Milled Prototypes & Engineering: We invested in milled foam prototypes to validate the complex geometry, ensuring the design's structural integrity and seating comfort were production-accurate from day one.
